The EasyCare Fountec Algaecide and Clarifier will make sure that your fountains bird baths and ponds stay free of unwanted green water and string algae. It is the most effective, environmentally friendly product which is available for fountain treatments. It is EPA Registered and effectively controls algae blooms, blanket weeds black, blue-green, blue and yellow algae and prevents regrowth in decorative fountains, water gardens (without fish), tabletops, and birdbaths. It is non-hazardous, non-staining and non-foaming, safe for birds, plants, and animals but not for fish.

The 8-oz. bottle of EasyCare Fountec Algaecide and Clarifier uses the newest technology and organic polymers for safe and effective water treatment. In addition to killing the algae in your pond, fountain, bird bath or other water feature the natural effect of the Fountec's polymers on the water tension also make it an excellent deterrent for mosquitoes, flies, and wasps.

How To Use It.

After your initial dose, which will depend on the number of gallons your pond or water feature holds, it is recommended a weekly maintenance routine which is just a few drops, again depending on the number of gallons your water feature holds.

The positive charged polymers become absorbed onto the algae and the bacteria cell walls coating their surfaces and disrupting the metabolic functions resulting in suffocation of the algae and bacteria.

Initial Dosage Depending On Fountain Water Feature Size:

1 gal water = 1 drop for clear water, 2 drops for visible algae
10 gal water = 10 drop for clear water, 20 drops for visible algae
100 gal water = 1 tsp. for clear water, 2 tsp. for visible algae

Weekly Maintenance After Initial Dosage:

1 gal. = 1 Drop
10 gal. = 5 Drops
100 gal. = 1/2 tsp
